Matthew: Say hello, everyone, to our brand new character! At one point, Colin noted that Space needed someone to help him out. We didn't give him the traditional secretary or anything like that, but Space is the kind of guy who can't go at it alone. He's got big cases, big mysteries to solve, and someone should be there to pick up a bit of the slack.
That's where our helpful Tidanie comes in. If it's not obvious, Tidanie is named after a supporter of me, of us and of Space Cat -- Tim Daniel. He's the man who helped redesign Multiversity Comics, he gave us the beautiful Detective Space Cat logo above and we -- and I especially! -- are forever in his debt. Check out Tim's comic "Enormous," on stands now from Image Comics and Shadowline with art by Mehdi Cheggour, and be sure to look for more from him in the upcoming years. He's going to be the next big thing.
Tidanie's behavior, however, is not based on Tim at all. That's just us getting weird.
And bless Nina's heart if she didn't give him the most timely appearance ever. Cecila Giminez would be proud.
